Healthcare Mission of the Corridors’ Beacon Cities’ Day Clinics & Hospitals:

“To Improve Health and Serve Humanity by Integrating Education, Research, and Healthcare.”
Dr. Nkemka Jombo-Vision Ofo’s and Mission were as follows.
The day clinics in The Beacon Cities
Every day clinic in Beacon City functions as its own little hospital. Each of these day clinics will contain between 100 and 150 beds. They will be able to provide ambulant care for the nearby poor citizens of Beacon City.

Surgery, obstetrics, gynecology, pediatric general medical care, intensive care, poison control center, isolation for infectious illnesses, pharmacy, and heliport are just a few of the services offered.

Tools for diagnosis and treatment that will be available at these day clinics:

  • X-ray equipment
  • X-ray machines (Computer Tomography)
  • MRI equipment (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
  • Equipment for electrocardiograms and ultrasound
  • Facilities for cancer screening will be helpful.
  • Colonoscopy
  • Breast-imaging test
  • Centers for intervention in surgical demands and cardiac emergencies such heart attacks and chest discomfort
  • Catheterization laboratories
  • Operative spaces

Surgery

Otorhinolaryngology, ophthalmology, general surgery, urology, abdominal surgery, orthopaedics and traumatology, and gynecology.

Principal Regional Hospitals

Two or three major hospitals will be constructed in important places. The bigger hospitals will provide assistance to the smaller Beacon City Day Clinics.

Each of these major hospitals will have around 1800 beds. In addition to the regular services offered by the Beacon Cities’ Day Clinics, these primary hospitals will address the citizens’ most dire/critical needs.

Our facilities are distinguished by a high level of humanization, the quality of services provided, the professionalism of the operators, and the hotel comfort provided to guests.

The Main Hospitals will provide highly specialized medical intervention in addition to regular treatments.

High Surgical Specialization

Oncological neurosurgery; Neurosurgery.

General surgery, vascular surgery, Thoracic surgery, Urological surgery, and abdominal surgery are all specialties.

Otorhinolaryngology, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics and Traumatology, and Gynaecology are all specialties.

Cardiology and Interventional cardiology H24

The FFR CT is a breakthrough in coronary diagnosis.

Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) (CAD). CAD is the most prevalent cardiovascular disease, and diagnosing it necessitates enormous human and financial resources.

Robotic System Da Vinci
Robotic surgery has now established itself as the most effective procedure for treating prostate cancer surgically.

The Robot is used for a variety of procedures, not just radical prostatectomy. Radical cystectomy, pyeloplasty for stenosis of the pielo-ureteric junction, and partial nephrectomies for kidney tumors are also commonly done with the “da Vinci” robot in more sophisticated hospitals.

It is apparent that urological surgery is experiencing a drastic transition, and that advancement will lead to an increased usage of this cuttingedge technique in the next years.

Extracorporeal lithotripsy (ECL)

Extracorporeal lithotripsy is a shock wave therapy for lithiasis of the kidney, biliary system, pancreas, and osteoarticular diseases. Excellent lithotripsy performance:

Lithotripsy of the pancreas

Lithotripsy of the kidneys

Lithotripsy of the bladderLithotism of the urethra

Lithotripsy of the liver

Extrahepatic and intrahepatic biliary tract lithotripsy

Radiotherapy

The Versa HDTM Linear Accelerator, a new generation Linear Accelerator, can provide conventional therapies for a wide range of indications while also allowing sophisticated treatments that demand extreme accuracy and the utilization of cutting-edge technology.

The Versa HDTM’s technology enables:

The availability of a “Agility” collimation and beam shielding technology capable of providing conformational therapies and intensity modulated treatments in dynamic mode (IMRT), rotational and volumetric (VMAT), and ensuring uninterrupted beam delivery even across large anatomical areas

The presence of an integrated CT verification system (Cone Beam CT), which allows control of patient positioning and identification of the target volume via CT scans, in order to verify the accuracy of therapy both between sessions and during each session by making an appropriateness comparison with the planned treatment. In this manner, “image-guided” radiotherapy, or IGRT, is performed, allowing you to frame the target with higher accuracy and redefine volumes, enabling even more selective tumor irradiation. All of this provides for increased treatment accuracy, as well as the possibility of raising the dosage per fraction and/or total dose administered while decreasing the involvement of healthy tissues surrounding the target volume.

The availability of a robotized treatment bed with 6 DOF (Degrees Of Freedom), Hexa-POD-TM, which enables implementing online ART (Adaptive Radiotherapy) protocols with the complete correction of each patient’s final positioning; the Symmetry-TM mode that enables 4D-CBCT (4D Cone Beam CT), providing a real opportunity to manage treatments affected by respiratory movement; and the presence of a robotized treatment bed with 6 DOF (Degrees Of The radiotherapy service treats cancers that are primary, secondary (metastatic), or relapsed (disease relapses), including those of the genitourinary system, colorectal, brain, esophagus, liver, breast, pancreas, lung, prostate, stomach, and head and neck. It also treats benign and malignant tumors as well as intracranial functional disorders, as well as other cancers.

Physiotherapy

Our hospitals provide rehabilitation services in accordance with the attending physician’s recommendations and the patient’s underlying diseases.

Patients can benefit from a variety of clinics where customized treatments are provided, a gym with cutting-edge equipment appropriate for the re-education of musculoskeletal and neuromata illnesses, and trained staff who place a strong emphasis on individualized care.

Excellent physiotherapy performance:

  • Rehabilitation following neurosurgery
  • Comprehensive postural rehabilitation
  • Rehabilitation for breathing
  • Rehab for cardiovascular conditions
  • Rehabilitation in orthopedics
  • Cancer patient rehabilitation
