Alhaji Ibrahim Hamman Adama, born on September 28, 1957, is a native of Mayo Belwa, Adamawa State Nigeria.

His early education was at central primary school Jimeta Yola from 1966 to 1973, followed by Uba secondary education at the government school Uba, which he concluded in the year 1978. After that, he moved to Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria to study for an accountant diploma from 1979 to 1982.

Ibrahim was then admitted to Abubakar Tafawa Belwa for a diploma in computer science. A Year later he was accepted to the Federal University of Technology in Yola for further studies in accounting where he studied for a degree in accounting and graduated in 2005.

Subsequently, Ibrahim. H. Adama proceeded to the school of accountants to become a professional accountant in the year 2006.

Ibrahim H. Adama worked as chief accountant at Upper Benue River Basin Development Authority and later established his private company.

Ibrahim was appointed a Special Advisor to the Governor of Adamawa State for Trade and Commerce in 2007, and then, in 2012 as a Special Adviser for finance till 2014. He was also a member of the Advisory Committee for (NBTIC).

Alhaji Adama is happily married and has six children.
