Ayodeji SUBAIR is a seasoned Telecoms Management, Network planning and strategy professional with 25 years’ experience spanning CORE, EDGE, Network Security, CDN, Intelligent and Interconnect Networks.
Ayodeji has expertise in network design, building and optimizing high growth voice and data networks. He’s vastly experienced in startup advisory, product management, App development and building Digital platforms across OMNI channels. He has worked with big Telcos such as MTN Nigeria and Airtel. He holds an MA, Leading Innovation & Change from York St. John University, UK; PGD Management from University of Nigeria, Nsukka and holds a B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics from University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
Ayodeji has been involved in several high value projects such as MTNN’s 5G CORE Network trial strategy and leading VSF migration strategy to free up 800MHz spectrum for MTNN’s LTE launch. He developed an integrated network strategy for MTN Packet CORE Network that grew data volume by 5,000% from 1TB to 5PB daily volume. Whilst working at MTN as Head of CORE Network Planning, Ayodeji, managed CAPEX Budget of circa $400m over 10 years (2010-2020) to help MTN deliver Africa’s most modern and largest Core network.
