Clement Kwegyir-Afful, a Chartered Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and also a Member of the Association of Project Managers is an established project leader who has helped lead and troubleshoot large infrastructure projects in the Highway, Technology, conventional rail, high speed rail and Nuclear New Build Industries in the United Kingdom.
The projects include the circa £21bn Hinkley Point C Nuclear New Build, circa £80bn High Speed 2 railway, circa £18bn Crossrail project and the award winning £850m Reading Station Area Redevelopment Project. Clement is the author of the 5star project management book. ‘Delivering Successful Megaprojects – Key Factors and Toolkit for the project manager’.
Clement completed his first degree in civil engineering in Ghana. Then read his masters in civil and structural engineering in the United Kingdom. In the United Kingdom, he became one of the fastest people to get chartered and came top 6 in the world that year. He attained the highest level of recognition in the Civil engineering industry by becoming a Fellow due to his contribution to the industry.
