Cormac Hicks has been working in the Tunnelling Industry for the last 40 years. He started his career using the labour-intensive method of Ribs and Lagging to secondary line tunnels all over the UK. This naturally led onto Cormac starting his own company CP Hicks Ltd which specialised in Caulking, Pointing and Secondary Lining.
Cormac joined the team at Tunnelcraft in the late 80’s as Pit Boss on a Miller Civil Engineering Tunnel on the Isle of Wight.
In 1995 he took over from Danny Riordan as Managing Director.
Since then Cormac has confidently steered Tunnelcraft through continued growth and is passionate about delivering the very best, Safety Focused service.
