Robert Lee Jones, a Graduate from East Tennessee State University, Bob served in the United States Army and began his career with the United States Government after release from his military service. Nine years later he became one of the youngest members of the elite United States Senior Executive Service, the highest rank in the U.S. civil service. A charter member of the Senior Executive Service, Bob worked for the General Services Administration, the largest civilian real estate organization in the world with additional responsibilities of managing the purchase of equipment and supplies. His assignments included managing the government’s real estate organization. Comptroller of the National Capital Region, liaison with the US Congress activities and Director of the Presidential Transition Office.
